In Home Nursing Skive/Højslev you will be part of a daily life where nursing care close to the citizen is the focal point. We meet people of all ages with different and often complex nursing needs and work rehabilitatively with the citizen’s resources in the center.

About the job

We are looking for a day and evening shift colleague with a weekly working time of 37 hours – otherwise let’s talk when we meet. The position entails approximately 4-6 evening shifts over a 6-week period.

There is weekend work every 4th weekend in a fixed rotation.

Also includes working Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve in a fixed rotation, which means you have a shift on one of those rotating roughly every 6 years.

You will be part of a team that covers both the countryside and the town, so you must be able to thrive in fresh air and enjoy cycling – we of course provide an electric bike.

A driving license is required, as some routes are driven by car.

Your tasks may include

• Nursing care for citizens with chronic and complex illness trajectories
• Terminal care
• Acute tasks
• Interventions for mentally vulnerable and socially exposed citizens
• Instrumental tasks such as catheter placement and injections
• IV therapies
• Wound care and compression therapy
• Interdisciplinary citizen meetings and daily triage
