About the position

As a nurse at Poppelhuset, you will be responsible for supporting and developing the health-professional efforts in close collaboration with management and staff.

We aim to be among the best residential facilities when it comes to prevention, documentation and patient safety. Therefore we are seeking a nurse who not only performs nursing tasks but who also is passionate about teaching, developing and raising the overall health-professional level in the organization.

This position is a unique opportunity to have real influence on the health-professional direction and quality at Poppelhuset.

We are looking for an engaged and professionally strong nurse who wants to be a central key person in our work with health-professional quality, patient safety and competence development.

The position is initially 37 hours per week, but we are open to a lower number of hours if desired.

Your main tasks will include

Work systematically with the 12 nursing-related problem areas and ensure high documentation quality.

Be a super-user in Nexus and support colleagues in correct documentation and use of the system.

Ensure prevention and support the organization's work with supervision from the Danish Patient Safety Authority.

Educate and guide staff in FSIII and health-related documentation.

Understand and follow up on further delegations of health-related tasks.

Educate staff in preventive care and health-related interventions.

Identify and act on early health risks among citizens.

Actively work with adverse events (UHE), including registration, analysis, learning and follow-up.

Contribute to the implementation of new workflows, quality improvements and competence development.

We are looking for a nurse who

Is a licensed nurse.

Has experience with the social sector, elderly care or residential care facilities.

Has strong competencies in health-related documentation.

Preferably has experience as a Nexus super-user.

Thrives with teaching, sparring and guidance of colleagues.

Can work independently while fostering engagement around professional initiatives.

Focuses on prevention rather than firefighting.

Sees quality, patient safety and learning as a natural part of everyday work.

Working hours

The position is mainly on weekdays

Monday to Friday at 06:30 or 07:00 - 14:00

As part of the introduction, training and maintaining familiarity with the citizens, you are also expected to participate in personal care and pedagogical support from 07:00-09:00.
