In acute psychiatry we prioritize collaboration, safety and care. Emphasis is placed on professional development as well as personal development in good interaction with friendly colleagues.

At P50 you will have the opportunity to strengthen competencies in core skills such as teamwork, communication and clinical leadership.

Work primarily with psychiatric nursing, but with good opportunities to work with somatic nursing.

P50 is an exciting and educational psychiatric ward specializing in psychosis diagnoses and eating disorders.

Whether you are newly graduated or have experience is not decisive. The most important is that you have a personality that matches the unit. We value collaboration, communication and a sense of community.

The position is 37 hours in mixed shifts with influence on your own work schedule. If you want to work less than 37 hours it may also be possible.

As a rule, you work every other weekend, but with a good chance to end up working every third weekend.

Who are we?

P50 is an acute 24-hour department that provides care and treatment for people with mental illness across all diagnoses.

We are an integrated psychiatric inpatient ward with 24 beds.

We have 11 open beds, 4 closed beds, 6 beds for patients with eating disorders and 3 beds for patients in patient-controlled beds.

This means that we have both short intensive courses with diagnostic focus and longer trajectories where it is possible to work holistically and recovery-oriented.

We address the full spectrum of mental, physical and social issues in our patients. All to support the patient's daily well-being and meet the patient's treatment needs and likewise give our staff job satisfaction.

You will have around 40 colleagues. We work across disciplines and have a flat structure where everyone has the opportunity to have their say.

In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.

This is a permanent position to be filled on January 1, 2027 or by agreement.

The department is a smoke-free workplace, which means staff may not smoke during working hours.
