About the job

Do you want to make a tangible difference in everyday life? Become part of our strong interdisciplinary team in specialized neurorehabilitation

We are seeking one nurse or social and health care assistant for a permanent position (up to 37 hours/week) and one for a maternity leave replacement (up to 37 hours/week) from December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.

Are you passionate about high professionalism, holistic thinking and close interdisciplinary collaboration, where the citizen is always at the center? And do you want to be part of an exciting development journey as, on January 1, 2027, the operation is transferred from Faxe Municipality to Region East, where we will continue to elevate specialized neurorehabilitation? Then Kildebo – Center for Neurorehabilitation is the right place for you.

About Kildebo – where expertise and humanity go hand in hand

Kildebo is a specialized neurorehabilitation center with 12 24‑hour beds, which are almost always fully occupied with citizens from most of Zealand. Our citizens have complex, recently acquired brain injuries, and our top task is to help them return as best as possible to a meaningful and as independent life as possible.

We are around 40 engaged and competent employees who cover the full 24 hours: Center Director, neuropsychologists, speech therapist, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, nurses, social and health care assistants and social and health care helpers.

With us, interdisciplinary collaboration is not just a word – it is the foundation of everything we do. We work holistically, share knowledge across, and see the whole person behind the diagnosis.

Why should you choose us?

  • High professionalism and continuous competence development: We prioritize courses, teaching and knowledge sharing highly. Every 4th Tuesday we hold a fixed staff meeting for the whole staff group with a focus on professional discussions, teaching, citizen cases and sparring.
  • A strong and safe working environment: We have high staffing levels and take good care of each other. Here there is room to breathe, mutual respect and room for dialogue. We acknowledge each other's professional competencies and know that we become stronger together.
  • Exciting and varied tasks: No day is the same. You will have the opportunity to apply your health-professional knowledge in both complex nursing and rehabilitation tasks as well as in creative, everyday rehabilitation activities.
  • Flexibility and good leadership: You will have a visible and approachable leader with a strong focus on the working environment, as well as a high degree of influence and flexibility in shift planning with regard to your private life.
  • A secure startup: We ensure a thorough and structured introduction to the department, workflows and our documentation practices. We currently work in Cura, but will transition to the Health Platform as part of the transfer to Region East, and you will receive the necessary training along the way.

Our wishes for you

  • You are a trained nurse or social and health care assistant – preferably with some years of experience.
  • You have an interest in (or experience with) the neurological and rehabilitation field.
  • Experience with either Cura or the Health Platform (or both) will be a clear advantage.
  • You want to work up to 37 hours per week in day and evening shifts, with a weekend shift every 3 weeks.
  • You thrive in a cross-disciplinary environment, take responsibility, work independently and approach daily life with a high spirit and engagement.
  • You want to actively participate in citizens' everyday activities and contribute with creative ideas for rehabilitative pathways.
  • You wish to contribute positively to our work community and professional development.
