There is a weekend shift every 3rd weekend and a holiday in spring and one in Christmas/New Year.

  • Targeted, individual and autonomous information and guidance to patients and their relatives in connection with examinations and medical treatment for valve diseases within delegated competence.

  • You can work independently, in a structured way and at the same time actively contribute to the community.
  • You have an interest in helping to develop the area.
  • You take responsibility for your own and the shared well-being and contribute to a healthy working environment.

Who we are, and what you will be a part of?

In the outpatient clinic we are nurses, a dietitian, a psychologist and a clinical assistant, who together with doctors and secretaries form a unique unit. We are an department that works together to diagnose, care for and treat patients with – or suspected of – heart disease, including common, rare, chronic and life-threatening conditions. We are a very dedicated staff who always puts the heart patient first and continually seeks to develop patient pathways.

At the Cardiac Medicine Outpatient Clinic we strive to be among the best with the latest knowledge, and we work purposefully with patient and relative involvement.

We place high value on multidisciplinary collaboration, and together we form a unique department where high service, professionalism and shared values mean that you feel seen, heard and welcome – whether you come as a patient, partner or colleague.

The Cardiac Medicine Outpatient Clinic is an independent examination and treatment unit under Cardiology Department B. The outpatient clinic continuously works to adapt workflows toward the new OUH to make the outpatient clinic sustainable, and therefore more tasks may be added to the valve clinic beyond those described.

The Cardiac Medicine Outpatient Clinic is a large and dynamic department that offers attractive development and career opportunities, while we also set high requirements for your professional and personal competencies.

The Cardiac Medicine Department B's team of 240 specialists annually investigates, diagnoses and treats more than 30,000 patients with all forms of heart disease. The department has local, regional and countrywide functions and is the gatekeeper to treatment at Rigshospitalet and Aarhus University Hospital.

Our core task is patients and relatives. We are passionate about delivering the best possible investigation and treatment. To support the core task, we spend a lot of time on development and research, while also striving to be a very good workplace for our many skilled employees.

Naturally, we provide thorough onboarding and education both in the outpatient clinic and in the ward, so you are well equipped to solve the tasks.
