Nurse wanted for newly created position at Klarup Nursing Home

We are seeking an engaged nurse who will help create safe, meaningful and professionally strong pathways for residents at our nursing home. It is a new type of position where you will have the opportunity to put your full nursing expertise to use – in everyday work and in complex or acute situations – while becoming part of a close, interdisciplinary collaboration around the residents.

Your role as a nurse

As a nurse you will become an important part of ensuring high professional quality, strengthening the clinical quality of care, and setting the direction for interdisciplinary collaboration – so that residents encounter an effort that is coordinated, qualified, and tailored to their needs.

As a nurse in a nursing home you will work closely in small clusters with nurses at neighboring nursing homes. You will become part of an ERFA network, where you, together with other nurses, have professional sparring and competence development.

Klarup Nursing Home is a new home opening on 2 November 2026, with space for 60 residents across 5 departments, of which 3 departments will house residents with dementia. We are increasing staff and therefore we need one more nurse.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Perform complex and specialized nursing care in close collaboration with other professional groups
• Take on clinical leadership and ensure continuity in resident care pathways, e.g., at admission, hospitalization and discharge
• Support colleagues' learning and professional development through sparring and knowledge sharing
• Document and communicate nursing observations and interventions in accordance with current guidelines
• Contribute to the development of the professional environment and implementation of new knowledge
• Participate in preventive work through early detection, triage and collaboration with the nursing home doctor, etc.

We are seeking nurses who

• Are a licensed nurse with experience in complex pathways
• Work independently while thriving in close interprofessional collaboration
• Want to contribute to a learning environment and professional development, e.g., through teaching or bedside learning
• Are willing to take on clinical leadership and coordinate interventions with the resident at the center
• Have an open and positive view of people, good humor and can maintain an overview in a busy everyday life
• Can navigate the CURA care system – or are keen to learn it
• The position requires a category B driving license; it is advantageous to have access to your own car

• It is a permanent position, initially 37 hours per week
• Shifts are primarily day shifts on weekdays, but with opportunities for evenings and weekend work.

Salary and employment terms

You will be employed at the requested nursing home, reporting to the respective nursing home manager. You will also be organized in a geographic cluster, where you will have a professional community and help each other across, e.g., during holidays, illness, courses, etc.

The position is expected to be filled by 1 December 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The appointment is under the applicable collective agreement for nurses and health visitors (70.01) between KL and the Danish Nurses Organisation.

Prior to final employment, a criminal record check must be provided and references obtained.
