Geriatric Department, OUH Svendborg Hospital is seeking nurses for permanent employment, in combination of day shifts and evening or night shifts, as soon as possible or by agreement.

The positions are for 37 hours or as agreed, with a shift every 2nd or 3rd weekend.

Our geriatric ward has 32 beds. The care staff consists of dedicated nurses and social- and health-care assistants who, in close collaboration, offer patients the best possible care, attention and treatment. We have a close interdisciplinary collaboration with the department's clinical dietitian, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, doctors and secretaries, as well as a close cross-sector collaboration with the primary sector.

In geriatrics we have a holistic approach, where the patients and their relatives are involved in care, treatment and decision-making.

Svendborg Hospital is a dementia-friendly hospital, and in the Geriatric Department we pay particular attention to the demented patient.

We are looking for nurses

• who can work independently, efficiently and with compassion and who have a positive, cheerful and motivating demeanor
• who can see the value of working interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral and holistic for the benefit of geriatric patients, and who are able to participate in an established interdisciplinary collaboration
• who see it as a challenge to work with difficult and complex patient pathways
• with great sense of responsibility for the relationship with the patients and their relatives
• who actively contribute to continuous improvements and who contribute to, and support, the development of new initiatives

Salary and terms of employment

Salary is paid in accordance with the agreement with DSR, and the position is covered by local pay formation. Therefore, a comprehensive CV is important.

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be told base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in 32.17.1.

In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
