Nymarkskolen is seeking an engaged and relationship-building teacher for a position at 80%, primarily connected to the special education area and functional classes, with starting date on January 1, 2027 – or as soon as possible .

We are looking for a teacher who, with presence, authenticity and care, can create strong relationships with young people while actively contributing to both the academic and social community in the upper primary/early secondary years.

• has a major in mathematics and a desire to teach in a class

• would preferably have experience with natural science and will strengthen students' curiosity

About Nymarkskolen

Nymarkskolen is the City of Svendborg's school for youth and lower secondary education for three primary schools: Tved School, Thurø School and Ørkild School. We have about 550 students spread across 7th to 10th grade, including sports classes in collaboration with Team Denmark and a 10th grade center with an EUD line. In addition, we offer a functional class with currently 25 students. The school has 65 dedicated employees and a leadership team of four.

Salary and employment

We offer a part-time position with a contract of 80%, corresponding to approximately 29.6 hours per week, with expected starting date no later than January 1, 2027 . Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and local pre-agreement.

HR Department will obtain a police clearance and a child protection background check for the selected applicants. It is a prerequisite for employment that these checks are satisfactory in relation to the position. The assessment is made by the Legal Office.

In Svendborg Municipality, the salary for this type of position typically ranges between 46,863 and 59,238 DKK per month for full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday allowance and fixed allowances. There may also be shift allowances and other special payments.
