About the job

Do you want to set the direction for the citizen's rehabilitation and reablement in a strong multidisciplinary team?

We are seeking, as of January 1, 2027, an occupational therapist for 37 hours for the new care and health placements in Skanderborg

Be part of creating something new

Borgernær Sundhed has been established as part of the health reform and will undertake new regional tasks close to the citizens.

The health and care placements will become an important part of this development, where we will create coherent pathways for citizens with complex needs.

As an occupational therapist you will play a central role in building the rehabilitative effort. You will be part of a multidisciplinary environment where the citizen's goals, resources and opportunities to master their own life are the focus of our work.

We work from a rehabilitative approach, where training and development of functional ability not only take place in planned training situations, but are an integrated part of the entire stay. Therefore you will be an important collaborator in holistic care.

Your tasks will include

  • Occupational therapy assessments and evaluations of functional ability
  • ADL assessments and training based on the citizen's own goals
  • Assessment of the need for assistive devices and compensatory solutions
  • Interdisciplinary coordination and planning of citizen pathways
  • Guidance for citizens, relatives and partners
  • Documentation and follow-up on interventions

We expect that you

Are a licensed/registered occupational therapist and thrive in complex citizen pathways where close multidisciplinary collaboration with colleagues and external partners is essential to create the best solutions for the citizen.

We emphasize that you

  • Are a trained occupational therapist, preferably with experience
  • Are engaged in your profession
  • Work rehabilitatively with focus on the citizen's resources and mastery
  • Thrive in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Can work independently, efficiently and are good at planning and prioritizing
  • Are curious about development and new knowledge
  • Contribute to a good working environment with good humor, curiosity and stability.
  • Can perform examination and assessment of the citizen's functional level with a view to revealing resources and problems at body, activity and participation levels.
  • Takes responsibility for the joint task solving in the pathways and for the development of multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Good communicative and relational skills, so you can establish good contact with citizens, relatives and other collaborators
  • Can develop realistic goals for the occupational therapy rehabilitation in collaboration with the citizen and initiate targeted training
  • Are goal-oriented, proactive and reflective on your own practice

Why choose us

With us you will have the opportunity to become part of a strong multidisciplinary team with high ambitions on behalf of the citizens.

We offer

  • A thorough introduction program
  • Skilled and engaged colleagues
  • A high degree of professional independence
  • Close multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Focus on well-being, learning and psychological safety
  • Opportunity to influence the development of a new department and new solutions

Employment conditions

The position is 37 hours per week.

Sundheds- og Omsorgspladserne are offerings to citizens every day of the week. Occupational therapists will therefore eventually be required to participate in planned day shift coverage on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
