Who are we?

OK-Fonden Høng Erhvervsskole is a house with a history in the social field dating back to 1864. We are located on a large and very beautiful estate in Høng town, and we are blessed with good opportunities to unfold both outdoors and indoors.

We are a psychiatric residential care facility that functions as a home for adults with various challenges and vulnerabilities – referred to after SEL §107. Høng Erhvervsskole offers frameworks that enable residents to participate actively in their own life and to have a structured daily life, based on the individual's wishes, interests and needs.

Our foundation is built on the idea that it is in safety and trust in each other that we all develop and grow. Furthermore we believe that it is the community that functions as the foundation for creating meaning for the individual.

In addition to our milieu-therapeutic living unit we also have a large and lovely workshop that is actively used every day by our residents.

Common for us all is that we are passionate about our daily lives together with the residents, value being good role models, and that we like to laugh out loud with each other. We meet the residents with respect and curiosity - and always with attention to the fact that it is the resident's internal perspective that is essential.

We prioritize space for reflection and professional development through participation in supervision, collegial sparring, professional theme days and educational programs.

We work cross-disciplinary because we believe that collaboration between different professional backgrounds and personalities is the prerequisite for success, and likewise we are conscious of the importance that collegial and respectful collaboration is an active choice and an effort on equal footing with professionalism.

Are you keen to become our new colleague at night, and can you recognise yourself in the description below, we would love to hear from you.

• Can see yourself working in a close and dual collaboration, where there are only two on duty.
• Thrives with waking when others sleep.
• Can create calm, coziness and safety when our residents find the night difficult and can maintain an overview together with your colleague if required.
• Also can see when to tidy up, empty a trash can and do a bit of cleaning so that the common rooms are also inviting for the next morning.
• Can work from Low Arousal, where the focus will always be on calm and safety.
• Meet the residents with care - and together with the resident find ways to achieve the important calm at night.
• Know yourself and your values – and can convey them in a way that creates followership for both residents and colleagues.
• Very much ideally has insight and knowledge about our target group's challenges, in the form of dual diagnoses. But most importantly is that you are able to see the person behind the behaviour first - the rest you can learn.
• Know that all people are experts in their own life – and have respect and understanding for others' dreams and norms.
• Have psychiatric experience – preferably from a social-psychiatric setting. Maybe you are SSA?

The practical about the position.

• A position of 35 hours/week. Spread over 7 days of work (22:00-08:00) followed by 7 days off. Your shift will be placed in odd weeks.
• Employment as soon as possible - but no later than 1 December 2026.
