Will you help create a daily life where presence, curiosity and small child communities make a difference? And would you like to use nature, culture and the city as pedagogical learning spaces? Then you may be our new colleague at Duponts Gård.

Our pedagogue, who has worked for more than 30 years, is retiring at the end of December. We are therefore looking for a pedagogue from 1 January 2027 in one of our toddler groups.

Duponts Gård is located in the center of Fredericia, close to the beach, the ramparts, the Castle and Fredericia Station. We actively use the local surroundings and the city's many opportunities for experiences, play and learning.

We have four groups: two toddler groups with children from 0 to 3 years and two flex groups with children from just under 3 to 6 years.

• Song, movement and visual arts in collaboration with The Creative School, where children and staff participate in teaching on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• A weekly trip to the warm-water pool in the health house for our upcoming school children
• Play and movement in the health house gym once a week for both big and small

We see each child as unique and valuable. Together with the parents we strive to create safe frameworks around the good child life.

We place emphasis on diversity and meet each other’s cultures with curiosity. Relationship-building and small child communities are central in our practice because we know that children thrive and develop best in a presence-filled community.

We follow the children’s tracks, base ourselves in their zone of proximal development, and create learning environments that support well-being, development, learning and formation. Our activities take their starting point in what interests the children and in the world around us.

We work based on the politically adopted strategies and the strengthened pedagogical curriculum. The staff group has participated in a upskilling program with neuro-pedagogical relational pedagogy as the focal point, and we are in the process of implementing this in our pedagogical foundation.

Time for both children and professional preparation

In Fredericia Municipality's day-care institutions we work with annual norms. This means that in the scheduling of work, time is set aside for, among other things, staff meetings, planning, curriculum work and meetings with parents and partners. An employment of 37 hours therefore means that you do not have all 37 hours on the weekly meeting schedule.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week. Based on Fredericia Municipality’s personnel policy, there is the possibility of dialogue about individual wishes for flexibility in working hours and the arrangement of work.
