Educator sought for our special group

Would you like a job where your professional expertise truly makes a difference?

In Mejsegruppen we are looking for an educator who wants to become part of a small, tight and professionally strong team, where together we create good days for eight lovely children aged 0-6 years with challenges within the autism spectrum.

With us you will have the opportunity to work closely with the children and use your pedagogical expertise every day. We work with safety, relationships, structure and development and with AAC – augmentative and alternative communication.

We are three permanent adults and will become four with you. We know each other well, help each other and stand together – even when everyday life requires a little extra.

We have weekly group meetings, supervision and a fixed interdisciplinary sparring forum with, among others, psychologist, speech therapist, physiotherapist/occupational therapist and family counselor.

• Time for presence and the individual child

We work in small groups and plan activities based on the children's needs, interests and development opportunities.

• A daily life with plenty of outdoor activities

We have our own enclosed playground and four cargo bikes, which we use a lot. We are outdoors every day – all year round – and enjoy going on small trips and experiences together.

A large house with many colleagues

Mejsegruppen is part of a house with three toddler groups and three preschool groups, where we collaborate across groups and can draw on each other's expertise.

About the position

The position is 37 hours per week with commencement on December 1 or as soon as possible.
