About the job

Would you like to be part of a house filled with joy of movement, strong communities, engaged colleagues and the most satisfied parents in the entire municipality?

Then you now have the opportunity to become part of Æblehaven.

With us you get a daily life where play, movement, presence and children's communities are at the center. We are looking for a colleague who is curious about children's perspectives, willing to think creatively and will help create developmentally rich learning environments where all children feel they belong.

The position is in our toddler group, but Æblehaven is one integrated institution. Therefore we expect you to thrive working across the age groups 0-6 years and to see the value in following the children's development throughout their time with us.

Who we are

Æblehaven is a municipal day care facility focusing on movement joy and learning through the body.

We are a small institution with around 41 children distributed across

  • The Core group (0-3 years)
  • The Apples (3-6 years)

Our size gives us something special: closeness, strong relationships and a close collaboration between children, parents and staff.

We are surrounded by green spaces which we actively use in everyday life. Here there is room to explore nature, strengthen motor skills and create experiences that awaken curiosity and excitement.

Why choose Æblehaven?

A smaller house with a big heart

We are about 41 children and a tight staff, where relationships and collaboration are highly valued.

Movement as a natural part of the day

As a sports institution we work with learning through the body and create frameworks where children develop through play, activity and communities.

Professionalism with room for ideas

We believe in curiosity, reflection and development. Here your perspectives will be heard, and you will have the opportunity to shape practice.

Children first, always

We work from neuropsychological relational pedagogy, where presence, opportunities to participate, relationships and inclusive learning environments receive special attention.

At our workplace you get

  • Engaged and professionally curious colleagues
  • A daily life characterized by humor, trust and job satisfaction
  • Opportunities for professional development and sparring
  • A workplace with clear direction and shared goals
  • Strong parental collaboration and good relationships
  • Annual staffing norms and planning flexibility.

We are looking for you who

  • Is our new ambitious playmate
  • Is professionally curious and motivated to develop practice together with colleagues
  • Wants to be part of a strong community and engaged colleagues
  • Is present, caring and can create safe relationships with children and families
  • Wants to let the body lead and be filled with joy of movement
  • Sees both the individual child's development and the importance of the community
  • Is responsible, stable and contributes positively to collaboration
  • Sees parents as important collaborators
  • Can work loyally with joint decisions and contribute to a good working environment
  • Has knowledge of IT and preferably of Hjernen & Hjertet and Aula.

Does this sound like something for you?

We look forward to hearing from you.
