At Møllehøjskolen we are seeking a pedagogue who thrives in collaboration, has a clear human and pedagogical stance and who wishes to be an active part of our large community.

About the position

We are seeking a trained pedagogue for a permanent 34-hour position, and a trained pedagogue for a maternity leave replacement 34 hours. Both positions start from 1 January or as soon as possible.

If you graduate in January and you are the right fit for Møllehøjskolen’s children, we are happy to wait that month for you to finish.

You will become part of the after-school program with hours every afternoon. In addition you will also have resource hours during teaching time.

We need you to

• Love to play, and have a playful approach to reaching our pedagogical goals together with children and colleagues.
• Can plan and carry out meaningful pedagogical activities outdoors and have knowledge and experience with outdoor life – e.g. games, campfire activities, nature and animals.
• Can create creative activities with many children and keep them engaged – also when things are busy and there are many impressions, and at the same time maintain an overview and good humor. – Creativity in chaos
• Love to take trips with a large group of children – by bus, on foot or by bike
• Thrive on taking initiative, coming up with ideas and bringing them to life.
• Thrive in close collaboration with colleagues and parents

If you have other competencies that can be used in daily life, we would also like to hear about them.

You will become part of an after-school team where planning, sparring and joint reflection are a natural part of daily life. You will also be attached to a year-group team.

About Møllehøjskolen

Møllehøjskolen is a school with around 390 students from 0th to 6th grade. Of these, there are currently 226 children enrolled in the after-school program. We have strong local support, wonderful outdoor areas, horses, chickens and rabbits, as well as a close collaboration between teaching, after-school program and club.

We are a school with lots of exciting development tasks, which we work on together. We continuously develop our practice, sometimes in small steps and other times in larger leaps, and we emphasize that development happens close to everyday life.

Our common morning assembly and the annual circus performances in the after-school period are important gathering points and we always focus on how children develop personally and socially in communities.
