Pedagogical assistant for maternity leave replacement at Børnehuset Horsegaard

Børnehuset Horsegaard is seeking a childcare assistant for 33 hours, as of December 1, 2026. You will be attached to a nursery group.

Horsegaard consists of three Clusters, where each Cluster has a nursery group and a preschool group. The two groups work closely together, and you must therefore be flexible to work with children aged 0-6 years. The staffing norm is a total of 45 nursery children and 80 preschool children.

Børnehuset Horsegaard moved in mid-February 2025 to our new building, where we are in a process of arranging ourselves with all that belongs to the daily life in a day care institution. You have the opportunity to be part of this process, where new and existing will be blended together to create the very best day care institution and everyday life.

We are also in full swing to figure out how we together best create culture and practice in everyday life for the benefit of the children. Therefore, you must have an interest in engaging in a collaboration with colleagues where there is no focus on “keeping things as they are.” We build together culture, the children’s environment and the framework tailored to the child groups.

Our focus is also on a working environment where we jointly qualify the decisions that must be made, both at the groups and in the whole house. We are a house where initiatives and collegial sparring are valued.

In addition, new employees at startup will be assigned a mentor, with time set aside for ongoing sparring.
