Pedagogical Assistant at Idrætshuset Bavnehøj

Idrætsbørnehuset Bavnehøj is seeking a pedagogical assistant, preferably with experience for our one nursery group starting 1 January 2027 - 37 hours per week or as agreed.

Who are we

Idrætsbørnehuset Bavnehøj is staffed for 66 kindergarten children, divided into 3 kindergarten groups and 26 nursery children divided into 2 nursery groups.

We are part of the Hadsten town area, which consists of 5 institutions with a shared area manager.

Idrætsbørnehuset Bavnehøj is a certified sports institution by the Danish Sports Federation and VIA. We work with pedagogical sports (physically active pedagogy), which builds on, and is an integrated part of our everyday life and supports the child's natural joy of movement, develops body awareness and motor skills. The staff are trained in pedagogical sport, which means that we translate pedagogical goals through sport, play and movement.

Play environments both indoors and outdoors are designed with a basis in pedagogical athletics. We have learning environments for active motor play, but we also have small divided learning environments where there is room for mental immersion.

We are an engaged and professionally well-founded staff group, which through sparring and reflection works on developing our pedagogical practice. We value humor, and having fun, both as adults and children. Our everyday life is structured and recognizable, while we follow the children's initiatives.

• Love play and immersion with children indoors and outdoors.
• Have a basic appreciative view of people and are flexible and development-oriented.
• Are interested in learning about pedagogy and children's development, and participate in reflections on the pedagogical practice.
• Can plan and carry out pedagogical activities – in cooperation with pedagogy teachers or independently.
• Can contribute to creating flexible and inclusive learning environments so that all children feel like meaningful participants in the community.
• Can collaborate with parents, colleagues and other relevant partners.
• Attend on equal terms with colleagues regarding practical tasks e.g. tidying up the room to make it inviting for play, tidying up after meals, etc.
