Pedagogical assistant for 37 hours per week sought for Selskov Børnehus.

We are looking for an assistant for one of the preschool rooms from 1 December 2026.

Selskov Børnehus is an integrated day care arranged for 80 children across two infant groups and two preschool groups. You should enjoy working with children, and be curious about our professional practice. We are currently 16 staff with variation in gender, age and experience, and you should want to be an active and engaged part of the staff group. We work purposefully with our pedagogical practice; the path to change and development starts with ourselves. We have a close and good collaboration with our parents.

• You enjoy working with children regardless of age. To play, read and be active together with children
• You take care of the children.
• You are engaged and present with the children, whether you are playing, reading, eating or getting dressed
• You focus on the children and their relationships, how we can support and develop them
• You take responsibility for collaboration with your colleagues, by being active and participating in daily life and in meetings
• You are loyal to decisions made in the staff group
• You wish to join as an active part of the room and the house

About the job

You are permanently attached to one preschool group, but the employment is for the whole house.

Once a month we hold a staff meeting and 3-4 times a year we hold events for the parents, which take place outside of normal working hours.

The position starts 1 December. There is an application deadline Monday 16 November 2026 at 12:00, and we expect to hold interviews Tuesday 17 November. We will only respond to applications sent through the system. Please indicate in your application when you can start.

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement and rules on local pay formation. The workplace will be Selskov Børnehus, but employment occurs in Hillerød Municipality. Employment requires an approved child and criminal record certificate.
