Are you an engaged pedagogical assistant who wants to make a difference for the children? We are currently looking for a new colleague for both kindergarten and nursery – who will be part of the work we are in full swing with.

A house in development – with room for your ideas

Trille-Tumle is a young early years house. We are still in the process of shaping the culture and pedagogical practices we want to be known for. Here you should therefore not just fit into something that is already finished. You should want to help develop it.

We have ambitions, we have the will, and we know that we are not there yet. On the other hand, you have the opportunity to have real influence and help shape both everyday life, the community and our professional development.

You will become part of a diverse staff group with 28 colleagues, who bring different experiences, competencies and perspectives into the community. What unites us all is a lot of drive and a desire to develop.

The professional foundation

Our shared pedagogical mantra is clear: "All children must experience being seen, heard, met and understood." It is not just words on a piece of paper. We are focused on creating a shared pedagogical foundation and are therefore implementing NEST, where we:

• Are in full swing to build a shared pedagogical foundation with a focus on clear boundaries, common routines and a systematic approach to working with children in vulnerable positions.
• Work actively to translate our intentions into concrete actions, when we go to the playground, gather for a meal or participate in the children’s play.
• Believe that children do the best they can. When something is difficult, we are curious about what the child is trying to tell us, and what we as adults can do differently. We are focused on pedagogy not only being something we do in planned activities. It lives in relationships, in everyday small moments and in the choices we make together with the children.

Room for joint planning and a strong collegiality

Good pedagogy is developed in collaboration and requires time and sparring. Therefore we prioritize collaboration highly:

• Weekly staff meetings with room for reflection, planning and professional sparring.
• 28 dedicated colleagues with varied experiences and a lot of drive.

Who are you?

You want to use both your professional skills and your personality in everyday life and are passionate about children's well-being, development and relationships.

You are curious about everyday practice, want to actively use your body together with the children and contribute positively to the community you become part of. Perhaps you have lots of experience from other day care centers or perhaps this is your first job in a day care. The most important thing is that you want to develop with us.

Practical information

• The position is initially 37 hours per week.
• Employment from January 1, 2027 with the possibility of an earlier start.
• We are hiring for both nursery and kindergarten - please indicate in your application if you are applying for only one of them.
• Salary and terms of employment are set in accordance with the current collective agreement. We will obtain child and criminal background checks as well as references from previous employments in connection with the hire.
