Om jobbet The communal living arrangement at Biskop Svanes vej is seeking a pedagogical hourly-paid substitute in a residential facility for residents with cognitive challenges. We cannot guarantee fixed hours. You are hourly paid.

You are a substitute for the regular staff when they are absent.

Din profil We are looking for a man/woman with experience with the target group and who wants to work in a small residential community with happy residents but also residents with complex problems. You must be able to handle personal hygiene - for some full assistance, for others guidance. You must be good at following the pedagogical and healthcare goals that the individual resident has. You must be able to work independently, set boundaries, make decisions and be flexible regarding all tasks.

You must be able to document on the pedagogical/healthcare sub-goals. You can be a student, a retiree or you can work within the /pedagogical/healthcare field. We offer a couple of on-call shifts where we coordinate with each other. You are offered a medical course.

Derfor skal du vælge os As a rule you will not have to be alone at work; there will most often be a colleague present. Working hours will be in the time window 07:30-20:00 every day of the week. Shifts are typically e.g. 07:30-13:00 or 14:00-20:00. On weekends and holidays, however, often 11-hour shifts. They can be shared. We expect that after on-call shifts you can offer to take shifts and perform tasks on an equal basis with other staff.

Om os The residential care home at Biskop Svanes vej 63 is a provision for 13 lovely residents aged 30+ all with cognitive challenges, primarily developmental disabilities but with a number of health challenges. The residents are functionally very different. All have spoken language. The residents live in their own apartments and need pedagogical and health-care support to manage everyday life. All residents eat together in the common room, just as all, as able, help with quite ordinary daily tasks.

Everything residents can master themselves is supported and developed there. We work to motivate the resident. We prioritise that residents have a daily life where joy, exercise and well-being are at the forefront. We go on walks or cycle in the local area. We have a car available.

The residential care home is located in Rude Forest and is organised under the Center for Handicap Housing and Employment
