In Balling SFO and Afterschool Club you will meet children in a safe and inclusive community, where play, well-being and strong relationships are the focus. Together we create a meaningful leisure time with room for creativity, movement, outdoor life and good social experiences. As a pedagogical assistant you will become an important part of a committed team that every day works to create the best conditions for the children’s development, learning and formation. Working hours will be distributed across both morning and afternoon shifts.

Your tasks

You will among other things

• Support the children’s play, well-being and social relations
• Participate in and initiate activities within creative, practical and physical areas
• Contribute to a safe and structured everyday life for the children
• Actively engage in collaboration with colleagues, parents and the rest of the school staff
• Be a present adult who meets the children with respect, care and clarity

We are looking for a colleague who

• Has an interest in children’s development and pedagogical work
• Is present, acknowledging and good at creating relationships
• Has a positive outlook on life and contributes with humor and good cheer
• Can work independently and take responsibility in everyday life
• Is flexible, stable and meets children and colleagues with engagement
• Wants to be an active part of a professional and collaborative team
• Would preferably contribute with special interests or competences in areas such as sports, outdoor life, music, creative activities or similar
