Pedagogical assistants wanted for the Bolbro-Højstrup Childcare Institution, Lindeløkken, and Hjertegården Children's House

Do you want to play, laugh, explore and be meaningful in children's everyday lives?

In Lindeløkken Børnehus and Hjertegården Børnehus we are looking for a pedagogical assistant who wants to be close to the children in all that fills their everyday life; play, relationships, small victories, conflicts, laughter and all the moments where children develop together with others.

Two kindergartens filled with life

We are 2 kindergartens, right next to each other, with many different children, families and perspectives. Here children may be different, and we work every day for all children to feel they belong in the community.

That means we adults are close to the children. We participate in the play, help children into relationships, create security and follow the children's initiatives and curiosity.

You fit well with us if you

• enjoy being participatory in children's play
• are caring and meet children with calm and warmth
• can be playful, curious and present
• have an eye for children who need help joining the community
• think it makes sense to create good days for children
• are keen to develop yourself together with other adults

You don't need to know everything in advance. The most important thing is that you want to be part of the children's world and help create a place where children feel safe, happy and meaningful.

We believe that children develop through relationships and play

Therefore it is important to us that everyday life is not only about practical tasks, but about presence, participation and community.

For children, they do not necessarily remember what we said. But they remember how it felt to be with us.

The practical

Start date January 1, 2027 or by agreement.

The application deadline is November 9, 2026. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organisation.

The position is paid according to the applicable collective agreement. The expected salary level will be stated prior to any potential interview and depends on experience and qualifications.
