About the job

Are you looking for a meaningful part-time job this job as a helper might be something for you. You do not need any special education or experience as a disability helper. The job is about 15-17 hours per week, but the number of hours can be adjusted a little over time if desired.

The job is well suited as a student job.

A bit about me

I am a female wheelchair user, 45 years old, and live with my husband and two teenage daughters. I have a mild form of muscular dystrophy and am trained biochemist and work daily in the pharmaceutical industry. As a helper you will be my arms and legs and help with things I do not have the strength for in everyday life.

Tasks and shifts

The helper's tasks are ordinary tasks such as assistance with dressing, cooking, accompanying to physiotherapy and leisure activities as well as cleaning and shopping etc. The tasks are done together with me.

Because you will help me in the women's changing room at the swimming hall I am looking for a female helper.

Shifts are distributed on weekdays between morning shifts 6.50-9.00 (pay for 3 hours) or afternoon shifts 13.30-19.00. You will have 1-2 morning shifts and 1-2 afternoon shifts per week. Additionally, about 1-2 times per month there will be a Saturday or Sunday shift 9-15. As a helper you will have influence over which days you work, but it is important that you can be flexible and you are willing to cover all types of shifts. We will lay out a shift plan together.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, non-smoker, speak Danish and have a driving license.
