Part-time position as an educator/pedagogical assistant for our SFO (after-school program) or our Club at Alssund-Skolen

At Alssund-Skolen, we are looking for two dedicated pedagogues or pedagogical assistants who want to become either part of our daily life in the SFO or in Klub – where relationships, presence and creativity are at the center.

We are therefore looking for one pedagogue/pedagogical assistant for our SFO – and one for our Klub.

About us

Alssund-Skolen is a lively urban school in the middle of Sønderborg with approximately 345 students and 85 staff. We are a profile school with a focus on sport and movement, emphasizing strong communities.

The school is departmentally organized, where collaboration across departments creates coherence in the children’s everyday life.

Alssund-Skolen consists of both general classes and special classes, where there is cross-departmental cooperation through twin classes. In the school you will thus meet children from both general and special education.

In our SFO and Klub we have curious and energetic children from 0–6 years, who every day need adults who see them, listen to them and invite them into play, community and activities. We emphasize an active everyday life with both movement, creativity and good relationships – and we take care to ensure that all children feel part of the community.

About the position

We are seeking two colleagues, one for our SFO – and one for our Klub, who want to contribute to a daily life filled with smiles, play and development.

You will

• be a visible and present adult in the children’s free time
• create activities that inspire play, creativity and community
• work closely with both colleagues and parents
• contribute to a safe transition between school and leisure

• are trained as a pedagogue or pedagogical assistant

• have a particular affinity for creativity and music
• possibly have experience with social learning

Salary and employment

The positions are to be filled from January 1, 2027.

These are part-time positions of 20-25 hours per week depending on qualifications

Salary and terms follow the applicable collective agreement.

There will be opportunities for occasional substitute coverage in the school part if you wish.

Before employment, a child and criminal record check will be obtained.
