Pedagogical assistant for Lysholt - Special Department

We are a municipal institution consisting of several departments under one roof. We house both a general nursery and a kindergarten. In addition, we have 20 places for referred children aged 0-6 years and a special school offering.

In the special department (0-6 years) the children are distributed across 3 rooms. The children have various functional impairments and developmental disorders. We have children with multiple disabilities, rare syndromes, as well as children within the autism spectrum.

Common to the children is that they need to be in a specialized provision characterized by smaller groups, a calm, sheltered and predictable environment. The children need adults close by who can support and guide them through their day. There is a need for adults who are calm, can create close relationships and security, and who can read the small signals, as several children are without verbal language. Some children use aids and training devices.

We are looking for a new colleague for our special department.
