Pedagogical assistant or educational assistant for a permanent position at Skovagerskolen

Pedagogical Assistants at Skovagerskolen We may have one or two permanent positions as a pedagogical assistant as of 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible. Both positions are 30-35 hours per week

Who are we?

Skovagerskolen is Vejle Municipality's special school for children with severe mental and physical handicaps as well as general learning difficulties. With about 105 pupils and about 90 dedicated employees, we work closely in interprofessional, self-managing teams consisting of teachers, pedagogues, assistants and SSA. In addition, the school has physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists.

Skovagerskolen's pedagogical foundation is based on the Low Arousal approach. We are committed to creating an environment that supports and inspires the children and provides room for learning, mastery and development. Through teaching and special education we aim for the children to develop as much independence as possible in their own lives.

Terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable agreement for pedagogical assistants and pedagogical assistants between KL and FOA and the rules on local salary formation. Starting salary for 37 hours is 27,360 DKK per month. It should be noted that final salary placement will be set based on experience and qualifications and the specific position.

These are permanent positions of 30 – 35 hours per week with a start on 1 December 2026.
