Then you may be our new pedagogical assistant at Tusindfryd.

We offer as part of the job the possibility to take the pedagogical education via credit transfer, if you wish to develop professionally and dream of becoming a pedagogue.

About us Børnehuset Tusindfryd is located in the scenic Jyllinge close to the fjord, spread over two cozy sites with only 300 meters between them. We are a children’s house with both a nursery and a kindergarten – and a big heart space. The position is located in the kindergarten.

You will become part of a diverse staff group, where we value differences in age, experience and gender. Together we work to create safe, developing and playful learning environments for all children. We are a house with room for new ideas and pedagogical engagement, and a leader who focuses on job satisfaction, well-being and development.

In our daily practice we work among other things with

• Language Staircase
• The Brain and the Heart
• Professional reflection and sparring with a focus on children’s development
• Relationships, presence and a playful approach to inclusive communities

We are also part of the project "All children’s day care" in Area North. In the coming years we will collaborate with among others the Professionshøjskolen Absalon and Playful Learning to strengthen and develop the quality of our day care. This means that you will become part of a development-oriented environment where play, learning and pedagogical curiosity go hand in hand.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for a pedagogical assistant who

• wishes to be a present and caring adult for children
• creates safe and developing frames through play and activities
• is engaged and has a positive approach to both children and colleagues
• thrives in a team where cooperation, humor and diversity are a strength
• is proactive and ready to take part in the pedagogical practice

The vacant position is 35 hours per week and is available from 1 December, but we naturally happily wait for the right person.

The preparation time should give staff the opportunity to work more systematically with the core task, while creating better conditions for professional development, well-being, job satisfaction and strong communities – without compromising children’s time and staffing norms.
