About Børnehuset Bella

We are a well-functioning, newer institution in Ørestad with a total of 12 groups. We are seeking an educational leader who together with the educational leader for the kindergarten can form a strong team that leads both together and separately. You will have primary responsibility for the nursery department (six groups), while your leadership colleague has responsibility for the kindergarten (six groups).

Our ambition is clear: We want to create the best possible conditions for a good childhood, where there is room for diversity, and where all children feel welcome and respected.

Your primary tasks

As an educational leader you balance between close pedagogical professional leadership and administrative personnel leadership:

• Professional leadership in practice: You consult with the staff, set the direction and participate in team meetings, so you are close to daily life when needed
• Personnel leadership and operations: You take care of staff appraisals, sick leave follow-up, shift planning and procurement
• Culture carrier: You lead in further developing the institution and creating a culture characterized by trust and psychological safety

Who are you?

You do not need many years of experience as an educational leader, but you are fully clear that you want the path of leadership. We imagine that you:

• Have experience with leadership tasks and preferably a completed leadership clarification process or a leadership education
• Have a well-developed planning mind that enables you to prioritise, maintain an overview and be fully present in the task you are in
• Are a strong communicator who can involve both staff and parents, so you naturally create followers

We know that good leadership requires a good start and backing. Therefore we offer

• A safe and structured intro program: The cluster leader tailors the first three-four weeks for you, and you become part of Copenhagen Municipality's joint introduction program
• Close sparring and community: You have weekly management meetings, 1:1 conversations with the cluster leader every three weeks and close cooperation with the cluster's total six leaders. We solve challenges together – even when something is difficult
• Competence development: We place a high priority on your professional development and offer relevant continuing and leadership training.

Salary and employment terms

Start on January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The employment area is Copenhagen Municipality. Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. We will obtain child and criminal records checks and take references in connection with the employment.
