Daycare Center Manager at Rishøjens Børnehus in Køge Nord

A rare opportunity to set the direction in a small daycare with big ambitions Rishøjens Børnehus is looking for a daycare leader who can set the direction for the next phase of our development. We are an integrated daycare with one nursery group and two kindergarten groups. There are currently 56 children in the house, and as the new leader you will have a unique opportunity to shape the development of the daycare together with staff, children and parents.

We are seeking a leader who can unite people around a common direction, create strong communities and translate ambitions into practice. A leader who sees the opportunities in a small daycare where ideas can quickly be turned into action, and where proximity to children, parents and staff provides a strong foundation for leadership.

A childcare house with strong opportunities in the local area

Rishøjens Børnehus is located in Køge Nord, an area of growth where many new families choose to settle. The daycare is also situated close to public transport with good train services to Copenhagen.

We have nature as our nearest neighbour. The beach and the surrounding wetlands are a natural part of the children's learning environments and we also make use of the area's sports facilities and gym halls, which provide good opportunities for movement and community. At home in the childcare house we have a large inviting playground with a covered activity room, which enables play, learning and activities all year round.

As a leader you will have the opportunity to set the direction for the further development of the house and create a shared culture characterized by collaboration, job satisfaction and high professional standards.

As a daycare leader you will be part of a strong leadership community in the area. You will receive sparring and support from the area manager and the other daycare leaders in the area, who collaborate to create the best possible framework for children, families and staff.
