In collaboration with your team you will follow an annual cycle that provides time for professional deepening of the pedagogical efforts as well as professional supervision. Your work is built around fixed daily structures, but you will still experience that two days are never the same.

We work with a high degree of presence and close individual support, where 2:1 staffing allows being close to the resident and working preventively. Since there can be outwardly reactive behaviour, we are looking for you who understands the importance of a calm nervous system and can be the stable and safety-creating presence, even when situations become challenging.

We expect that you have

• Relevant pedagogical experience and/or education
• Familiarity with working with vulnerable residents and low-arousal pedagogy
• A professionalism that allows you to remain calm even when the waves are high
• A high degree of empathy, honesty and willingness to take responsibility
• Experience with personal care – otherwise we will teach you
• Driver's license B

About HabitusHuset Brøndbyskoven

HabitusHuset Brøndbyskoven is a day service that provides the daily framework for 18 unique individuals. We have an exciting and challenging workplace with colleagues who work dedicatedly and focused on supporting our residents.

We are a day service, therefore working hours are 8-16 with one day until 17.

"For me, Brøndbyskoven is safe and warm. We lift as a group, and it brings me joy in everyday life."

Our residents all have autism spectrum disorders and most have comorbidity such as ADHD, epilepsy, OCD and anxiety. Outwardly reactive behaviour is not uncommon.

All our residents require to be in a specially tailored pedagogical environment.

We are divided into four groups with 5-7 residents each. Our focus is on developing each resident's independence and increasing their well-being and quality of life.
