A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am a humorous middle-aged man seeking disability care assistants to start as soon as possible.

I have a spinal cord injury (neck) and I sit in a wheelchair. I live alone in my own home with my own garden and greenhouse, where I grow my own vegetables and chilies.

I spend a lot of my time on 3D printers, both printing and repairing them. I often have friends visiting, so you need to be able to be a “fly on the wall”.

I smoke quite a bit, so you should be able to tolerate some “smoke”. You may also be a smoker yourself.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You should be flexible, positive, non-judgmental, outgoing and should like working with people.

It is an advantage if you have experience as a disability attendant, but it is not a requirement, as there is training available.

I need help with personal care, cooking/shopping, cleaning/laundry, companionship outside the home and daily practical tasks.

There are two fixed positions with fixed night shifts every 2 weeks. The position of 15.75 hours per week has 3 shifts in a row, and the position of 18 hours per week has 4 shifts in a row – both have the possibility of relief hours in addition.

The night shifts are from 23:00 to 08:00.

It is expected that you will be able to assist with shifts on both weekdays and weekends, my goal being self-sufficiency and coverage of all shifts year-round.

You will as a disability attendant become part of a good, flexible and essential team of disability attendants who, together, cover all shifts year-round. The job takes place in the citizen's own home, for leisure activities, social events and the excursions the citizen may wish to participate in.
