About the job

Do you want to help create structure and overview in an independent daily life?

I am seeking a personal assistant for my small furniture carpentry company, Bo & Co., in Værebro near Ølstykke.

I am a self-employed furniture carpenter and have ADHD and Asperger's syndrome. I have therefore been granted personal assistance through the Jobcentre, so I can get the necessary support to create structure, maintain an overview, and keep focus on my work tasks.

I am looking for a calm, patient and structured person who wants to become an important partner in my daily life.

You do not need to have a specific education or experience from a similar position. The most important is that you are stable, have a good overview and thrive in helping others make everyday life function.

Your tasks

Your primary task will be to help me structure the workday and ensure that I follow up on the tasks that need to be completed.

This includes, among others

  • Help with planning and prioritising the day's tasks.
  • Create an overview of ongoing tasks and appointments.
  • Help me maintain focus and get back on track when I lose concentration.
  • Follow up on appointments and ensure that tasks are completed.
  • Contribute to creating good routines and a more structured workday.

When there is time, there will also be lighter administrative tasks, primarily ongoing bookkeeping and handling payroll administration.

You do not need to know the administrative beforehand. The tasks are manageable and can be learned along the way. We will go through them together until you can handle them independently.

Who are you?

I imagine you are a person who

  • Is calm, patient and good at maintaining an overview.
  • Works in a structured way and has a sense for planning and follow-up.
  • Is stable and takes initiative when you can see that there is a need for it.
  • Can be friendly and approachable, but at the same time persistent when I need help to stay focused.
  • Thrives in close collaboration and can communicate openly and directly.

It would be an advantage if you have knowledge of ADHD and Asperger's syndrome through work, education or personal interest. However, it is not a requirement.

The most important is that you understand that people work and organize themselves differently, and that you can help create structure without taking over control.

What can you expect?

You will become part of a small company where collaboration is close, and where your effort has a direct impact on making the workday run smoothly.

There is no requirement for a specific professional background, and you will have the opportunity to learn the administrative tasks at a pace that allows for questions and thorough introduction.

As we will work closely together, I place great emphasis on personal chemistry, mutual trust and a good, respectful dialogue.

I imagine the position may be relevant, for example for a student or another person seeking a part-time job with fixed hours and meaningful tasks. All qualified applicants are welcome, however.

Working hours and salary

The position is 15 hours per week, equivalent to about 65 hours per month.

The working hours are agreed in more detail to fit the company's needs and can be arranged in a way that is suitable for both parties.

The salary follows HK’s collective agreement for public employees, student rate 3, allowance IV, with pension and holiday pay according to applicable rules.

The employment is part of a grant for personal assistance through the JobCentre.

Does that sound like something for you?

If you can see yourself in this role, I would love to hear from you.

You do not need to know everything from the start. The most important is that you are the right person, want to collaborate and can contribute with calm, structure and an overview.

I look forward to hearing from you!
