It is never fun when the damage has happened – We basically all know someone who has been affected by water damage to a greater or lesser extent. As a moisture technician you become the specialist who works with insurance damages - mainly moisture- and water damages.

It is you who assesses the damage, conducts moisture measurements, prepares electronic moisture reports on site, and lays out a plan for how the damage can best be remedied.

As a moisture technician you are thus one of everyday heroes, who helps our customers return to normal life quickly!

Recover is a claims service company, which mainly handles insurance damages – including sudden damages. You will therefore experience busy periods throughout the year, which may entail occasional overtime.

As a rule you will work as a moisture technician only during daytime hours on weekdays. You will also be part of our on-call roster, which assists our insurance customers around the clock. This is arranged individually in each department, as the need for on-call shifts may vary.

It is also important that you are proficient in using IT systems, as IT is a central part of everyday life.

A workday with responsibility and freedom

As a moisture technician you plan your own workday. You have case responsibility, which means responsibility for safety, customer contact, coordination of staff and equipment, high service level, and ensuring a good economy in the individual case.

You are in ongoing contact with many different people – from appraisers who need reports, to claimants who want status, and not least colleagues who need to be briefed before they start on the task.

A typical day can start from home with case follow-up. Then you drive out to inspect damages, perform measurements and prepare reports – often on site at the customer or from the company car.
