About the job

Do you want to work with rehabilitation as part of the whole citizen's daily life?

As of January 1, 2027, the Health and Care Pladserne in Thisted will open as part of Region Nordjylland's new offering in the local health care system.

We are seeking a physiotherapist who is motivated by complex citizen pathways, interdisciplinary collaboration and the opportunity to make a real difference to citizens' functional ability, independence and quality of life.

At the Health and Care Pladserne we work from a rehabilitative approach, where training and development of functional ability do not only take place in the planned training situations. As a physiotherapist you will become an important part of the overall effort around the citizen, where your professional expertise contributes to supporting activity, functional ability and coping throughout the entire stay.

You will thus not only be a professional who delivers a specific service. You will become a central collaborator in assessing the citizen's rehabilitation potential and in planning the interventions that will support the citizen's path back to as independent a daily life as possible.

An important role in a new health offering

The Health and Care Pladserne are part of the future local health care system and should create coherent pathways for citizens with complex and multifaceted needs after illness or hospitalisation.

Here you get the opportunity to work with rehabilitation in its broadest sense. You will meet citizens with a need for reconditioning, mobilisation and support to regain functional ability, but you will also be a key actor in the interdisciplinary assessments and decisions that shape the citizen's overall pathway.

Your tasks

Your duties will include physiotherapeutic examinations, assessments and treatment interventions as well as reconditioning and rehabilitation based on the citizen's goals, resources and rehabilitation potential.

You contribute to the assessment of functional ability, mobility and the need for aids and have an active role in planning cohesive citizen pathways. At the same time you function as a professional sparring partner for colleagues in the rehabilitative effort and contribute to documentation, quality assurance and continued high professional quality.

We imagine that you

Are a licensed physiotherapist and thrive on working closely with citizens in complex pathways.

We emphasise that you

  • work independently and take professional responsibility
  • have an eye for the citizen's resources and possibilities
  • thrive in a close interdisciplinary collaboration
  • communicate clearly and create security for citizens and relatives
  • are curious, engaged and focused on high professional quality

Experience from rehabilitation, reconditioning, hospital or acute care is an advantage but not a requirement.

Therefore you should choose us

With us you become part of a professionally strong community with high ambitions on behalf of the citizens.

You will have the opportunity to use the full breadth of your physiotherapeutic competencies, work with exciting and complex rehabilitation pathways and become part of an interdisciplinary environment where collaboration, quality and professional development are natural parts of daily life.
