About the job

Do you want to work with rehabilitation as part of the citizen's everyday life?

As of January 1, 2027, the Health and Care Places in Thisted will open as part of Region Nordjylland's new offering in the close-to-home health care system.

We are looking for a physiotherapist motivated by complex citizen journeys, interdisciplinary collaboration and the opportunity to make a real difference for citizens' functional ability, independence and quality of life.

At the Health and Care Places we work from a rehabilitative approach, where training and development of functional ability do not only take place in the planned training situations. As a physiotherapist you will become an important part of the overall effort around the citizen, where your professional knowledge contributes to supporting activity, functional ability and mastery throughout the stay.

You will thus not only be a professional who delivers a specific service. You will become a central co-player in the assessment of the citizen's rehabilitation potential and in planning the actions that are to support the citizen's path back to as independent a daily life as possible.

An important role in a new health offering

The Health and Care Places are part of the future close-to-home health care system and should create coherent pathways for citizens with complex and composite needs after illness or hospitalization.

Here you will have the opportunity to work with rehabilitation in its broadest sense. You will meet citizens in need of retraining, mobilization and support to regain functional ability, but you will also be an important actor in the interdisciplinary assessments and decisions that shape the citizen's overall course.

Your tasks

Your tasks will include physiotherapeutic examinations, assessments and treatment interventions as well as retraining and rehabilitation based on the citizen's goals, resources and rehabilitation potential.

You contribute to assessing functional ability, mobility and need for assistive devices and have an active role in planning coherent citizen pathways. At the same time you function as a professional sparring partner for colleagues in the rehabilitative effort and contribute to documentation, quality assurance and continued high professional quality.

We imagine that you

Are a licensed physiotherapist and thrive working closely with citizens in complex journeys.

We emphasise that you

  • work independently and take professional responsibility
  • have an eye for the citizen's resources and possibilities
  • thrive in a close interdisciplinary collaboration
  • communicate clearly and create security for citizens and relatives
  • are curious, engaged and focused on high professional quality

Experience from rehabilitation, retraining, hospital or acute care is an advantage but not a requirement.

Therefore, why you should choose us

With us you become part of a professionally strong community with high ambitions on behalf of the citizens.

You will have the opportunity to use the full breadth of your physiotherapeutic competencies, work with exciting and complex rehabilitation pathways and become part of an interdisciplinary environment where collaboration, quality and professional development are natural elements in everyday life.
