About the job

Are you passionate about citizen-centered work and thereby developing rehabilitation and retraining in collaboration with citizens? Then perhaps it is something for you to become part of the Center for Rehabilitation Vanløse. The position is 37 hours per week. Start date January 1, 2027.

We are seeking a physiotherapist with the drive to work in an exciting professional environment that enables you to perform a holistic, coordinated and targeted approach in collaboration with colleagues, citizens and partners.

A little about us

The Center for Rehabilitation Vanløse is one of Copenhagen Municipality's five rehabilitation centers. We consist of 47 dedicated employees with strong professional competencies and a collaborative culture characterized by mutual trust. The center handles time-limited rehabilitation processes under the Health and Elderly Act within geriatrics, orthopedic surgery and preventive osteoarthritis programs. We work with differentiated citizen pathways and with mapping the citizen's health competencies.

We are a special site for rehabilitation after leg amputation as well as for citizens with urological/gynaecological diagnoses. In addition to internal tasks in the Health House, we also undertake tasks at care homes. We focus on ensuring that all therapists work across several professional areas to ensure we can help each other across disciplines.

We are seeking a physiotherapist with experience in geriatrics and osteoarthritis, where the task is to assess the citizen's rehabilitation needs. The issues within these areas are varied and sometimes complex, and many tasks require involvement of interdisciplinary partners. The position is primarily in outpatient rehabilitation, but may eventually include a split role with some hours at one of our care homes.

We meet the citizen in groups and individually, where we guide and support the citizen's own training. We have a focus on using digital rehabilitation and on involving the citizen's individual health competencies to tailor the rehabilitation effort as well as possible.

About you and your qualifications

  • You have a high professional level and broad experience in geriatrics and osteoarthritis
  • It comes natural to you to work independently and take responsibility in your work
  • You are eager to work with citizens with complex issues
  • You are good at establishing contact with citizens and motivating them to take responsibility for their own training
  • It comes natural to you to work independently and take responsibility in the work
  • You must be able to reflect on your own practice and on your professional interaction with the citizen and partners
  • You have experience with or are curious about the use of digital solutions as part of rehabilitation

Your tasks

  • Introductory conversations with new citizens with a view to professional assessment and planning of rehabilitation programs
  • Carry out group training at various levels
  • Provide individual training both at the Center for Rehabilitation and in the citizen's own home
  • Engage in professional sparring with your colleagues
  • Administrative tasks, documentation in our care system CURA and outcome measurement related to rehabilitation

We are a workplace that prioritizes well-being, presence and motivation highly. We offer good and engaging colleagues who are happy to find time for social activities after work.

The workplace focuses on how professional expertise can unfold in collaboration with the citizen and in collaboration with the other professional disciplines around the citizen.
