Play, laughter and movement – a small job with time for the relationship

Do you want to play Minecraft, jump on a trampoline and get to know a humorous boy well? In Vojens we are looking for an employee for 2 hours of companionship per week with a 10-year-old boy.

About the task

The boy is cheerful, sweet and full of humor. He loves Minecraft and Roblox, collects Pokémon cards and enjoys swinging and jumping on a trampoline. You participate in his interests and take the initiative for games, board games and activities at home or in the local area.

He has autism and ADHD and needs consistent routines and guidance. In particular, transitions between activities can be difficult, and he reacts to demands. Your task is therefore to create predictability, prepare him for transitions and adapt activities with a calm approach.

About you

You have humor and a desire to actively participate in both games and physical play. You can stay calm, give him time and guide without pressuring him.

Knowledge of autism and ADHD is a benefit, but not a requirement. You must be able to work in a home with a small dog and two outdoor rabbits.

Working hours

The position is 2 hours per week, initially one weekday from 15:00–17:00. The family prefers Monday, Wednesday or Thursday, but other weekdays may also be possible.

In time the time may be moved a little earlier in the afternoon.
