About the job

Are you structured, proactive, and do you thrive in the role of the one who creates overview and ensures progress in the management's work processes? Do you want to be a central support for the leadership and contribute to optimizing the processes that drive our unit? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.

About the position

As our new process consultant, you will be an important support to the management in the Department of Natural and Agricultural Development. Your primary task is not to have the technical overview of all the unit's professional processes, but rather to ensure that the leadership's workflows are streamlined and that they have the necessary overview to make good decisions.

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the leadership's annual plan, so we ensure timely progress in the processes that support the unit's operations and managerial tasks. We are looking for a profile who not only waits for instructions but who acts as a proactive sparring partner. You must have the ability to see where there is a need for better structure or new initiatives, and be able to independently propose solutions that create added value for both the leadership and the rest of the team.

You will become part of the Team for Development and Support, which today consists of 13 employees and one team leader. The team comprises a wide range of professional backgrounds. The team’s tasks range from ensuring leadership overview, coordination and collaboration across the agency in relation to the implementation of the Green Tripartite, to legal support for the agency’s acquisitions, to drafting amendments to laws for GIS expertise in relation to land distribution solutions and data building.

Your primary tasks include

  • Leadership support and coordination: Responsible for keeping track of the leadership's annual schedule, deadlines, and ensuring that the most important processes in the unit follow the planned timeline.
  • Facilitation and dialogue management : Facilitating meetings and managing the dialogue in processes that require cross-stakeholder coordination.
  • Process optimization: Identifying the need for improved workflows in the leadership's and the unit's support functions and actively supporting development tasks.
  • Written support: Preparation of sharp notes, decision bases, and other high-quality written communication to the leadership.

Your profile

You are an academic with a master's degree in political science, public administration, or a comparable relevant education. You have likely experience with coordination, process management, or management support in a complex organization, and you understand the mechanisms that drive public administration.

We imagine that you are

  • Structured and clear: You have a methodical approach to your tasks and can create order in complex timelines and work processes.
  • Initiative-taking and solution-oriented: You thrive with freedom under responsibility and have an eye for where you can create added value by identifying needs before they become challenges.
  • Strong in communication: You are linguistically skilled and can express yourself precisely and professionally – both orally in facilitation and in writing in your notes.
  • Relationship-oriented and diplomatic: You can navigate complex dialogues and function as a bridge-builder who can support the leadership in their contact with other parts of the organization.
