Procurement Manager

¤Responsibilities

As the supply chain team lead at Evapco Europe you will be an important part of the purchasing department in Aabybro. You will be responsible for operational purchasing, primarily order-based, as well as the team leadership of a shipping employee/purchaser and two warehouse workers. Strategic purchasing accounts for about 30% of the job. You will experience wide collaboration with sales, production, warehouse and suppliers, and therefore the ability to communicate broadly is an important success factor in the role. The company has converted to Business Central from Axapta at the turn of the year.

¤Your duties

• Daily order-based purchasing and contract negotiations for materials and raw materials, especially stainless steel, copper, etc.
• Forecasting
• Logistics and order transport
• Dialogue and coordination with suppliers in, among others, Denmark, Italy and China
• Quarterly budget and price indexation meetings with management
• Daily team leadership as well as annual salary and employee reviews

You will in the role report to the European Purchasing Director, who is located in Italy, and you will collaborate with your colleagues in Belgium and Italy. There will be approximately 20 annual travel days, primarily related to supplier visits.

¤Your profile

We envisage that you bring a few years of experience as a buyer, supply chain manager or similar in a manufacturing or industrial company. You thrive in operational purchasing and view it as an exciting challenge to motivate and lead a small team.

As a person, we would like you to be structured and independent, and to enjoy building relationships with both your suppliers and colleagues.

The corporate language is English, so good proficiency in both written and spoken English is important.
