In Børnehuset Perlen we are seeking an educator for 37 hours, who wants to be close to the children, work in small groups, actively use nature and contribute to our shared pedagogical direction.

We would love to hear from both experienced, newly educated and you who are about to finish as an educator . The most important for us is your commitment, your desire to work in a structured way and your view of the children and the community.

With us, pedagogy is not only something that happens in planned activities. It lives all day. In play, at meals, in the cloakroom, in transitions, in song and in the small moments where a presence-focused adult can make a big difference.

We are looking for YOU for a team in the kindergarten, where both nature and the local environment around Borup give opportunities for small and large adventures together with the children. And it is easy to get here by train and bus.

Who are we? Børnehuset Perlen is a smaller, integrated day care in Borup with a nursery, a kindergarten and a cross-cutting big-children community.

We are a house where presence, curiosity, professionalism and community are central. We work to ensure that all children experience real opportunities to participate and belong.

We work with ICDP as a relational foundation and focus on, among other things, SangGlad, motor skills, language, play, children’s perspectives and strong child communities. SprogTrappen and the relations circle are also a part of our pedagogical practice.

Perlen is SangGlad-certified, so music, rhythm and movement are a natural part of everyday life.

We work in smaller groups both in the rooms and across the house. We are attuned to the position of the adults and to creating multiple pathways into the community for each child.

And the work community means a lot to us. We help each other, share ideas, laugh together and are curious about our practice. We get along well, and our new colleague should be a part of that too.

Who are you? We are looking for a trained educator or someone who is about to graduate, who wants to bring their professional knowledge to life in everyday life.

• are active in the children’s play and can lead, accompany and follow
• are professionally reflective and curious about both your own and shared practice
• can work in a structured way while also adapting to the children in the group

We are not looking for someone to fit into a finished form. We are looking for a colleague who wants to help shape and develop Perlen together with us.

As a new colleague you will be introduced to the house and our most important work processes together with your room colleagues. We also follow up on your onboarding, well-being, expectations and need for support.
