The position stems from DTU's new strategy, "Til Gavn For Samfundet". Your task is to help turn the strategy into reality: More companies using AI and digital technologies responsibly to create new products and solutions.

The job - from research to business

You drive the programs from idea to result and work closely with researchers, colleagues at the institute and the rest of DTU as well as external partners such as other universities, knowledge institutions, authorities and companies. We seek a capable and experienced project manager who in close collaboration with colleagues must:

  • Make the impact visible of the institute's research and innovation, including through tech events and other knowledge dissemination.

Our expectations of you - an experienced project manager with a view for both research and market

You have a long higher education degree and at least 5-6 years' experience with innovation, upskilling or business development at the intersection of university and industry. In addition we expect that you:

  • Have led company programs or development projects with many parties and can bring them safely to completion.
  • Understand corporate needs and can translate them into collaborations that create value for both company and researcher.
  • Know research and innovation funding, e.g., Innovationsfonden, Industriens Fond and EU framework programmes. It is an advantage if you have secured funds yourself.
  • Build networks easily, are proactive and get things done.
  • Maintain overview when many tasks run simultaneously.
  • Have insight into and interest in AI and digital transformation.
  • Communicate confidently in Danish and English in writing and speech.

What we offer you - great responsibility in a small, strong team

You will become part of DTU Compute's Innovation Section, which consists of a section head and four-five skilled colleagues. We work closely together to create value for both industry and our researchers.

At DTU you will be part of a university where knowledge and education with a global perspective are central. New technology, innovation and the will to create something that can benefit us all are the cornerstones of DTU. We value high professional standards, and you will be expected to continuously develop yourself in step with your responsibility.
