About the job

Are you motivated by delivering complex projects through strong cross-disciplinary collaboration? Can you create an overview, ensure progress and bring a project team together toward common goals, while thriving with the responsibility for both people, finances and the project’s overall execution?

We are experiencing high activity and have several exciting projects in our portfolio. Therefore we want to strengthen our organization with two experienced project managers or project directors, who will help ensure a professional and efficient delivery of our projects.

Your role as project manager/project director

As a project manager or project director you will be responsible for one or more projects depending on your experience and profile. You will become a central part of large infrastructure projects and be responsible for creating direction, coordination and progress throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work closely with the project team, clients, advisors, suppliers and subcontractors. An important part of your role will be to foster good collaboration between the parties involved and ensure that the project is implemented in accordance with the agreed goals for safety, quality, time and economy.

We work with technically complex projects across disciplines and companies, and therefore the ability to build relationships and bring people together around common goals is essential.

Your main areas of responsibility

Your tasks will include, among others, to

  • lead and coordinate the project team across disciplines
  • ensure progress, quality, economy and safety on the project
  • plan and follow up on the project’s activities and schedule
  • create constructive collaboration with the client, consultants and other partners
  • follow up on the project’s finances, budgets, forecasts and risks
  • participate in or conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
  • ensure ongoing reporting and a clear basis for decision-making
  • contribute to bid work and start-up of new projects
  • ensure professional delivery and capture of lessons learned.

Are you our new colleague?

We imagine that you are educated as an engineer, designer or have a similarly relevant technical background. You have experience with project management and preferably with delivery of larger or technically complex projects.

In addition, we imagine that you

  • work in a structured way and keep an overview in complex project processes
  • have a good financial understanding and experience with project follow-up
  • are clear in your communication and good at building relationships
  • are motivated by achieving results through a strong project team
  • thrive with responsibility and broad contact surfaces
  • prioritize safety, quality and propriety highly
  • can make decisions and ensure progress, even when many considerations must be balanced.

The most important is that you have the right experience and motivation. Whether you currently work as a project manager or project director is not decisive. We tailor responsibilities and tasks to your experience and give you the opportunity to develop further in the role.

What will you become part of?

You will become part of a growth-oriented department, which today consists of about 50 professionals. With us you have the opportunity to shape collaboration forms, knowledge sharing and the further development of the projects. We are a department where you plan your own daily life and have the possibility to work from our office in Glostrup, from construction sites and from home. You may, among other things, be attached to large and complex projects such as Energiø Bornholm or Tinghøj storage facility.

You will be part of a department with high activity, strong professional competencies and a growing portfolio of projects. With us you get a daily life with freedom under responsibility and the opportunity to make your mark on both the projects and our ways of working. We place emphasis on knowledge sharing, professional sparring and continuous development.
