Project Manager for building services, who leads with respect and integrity

At Hartvig Gruppen A/S we are looking for a project manager for building service who sees leading the team as the core of the job, and who has experience in leading craftsmen or dreams of doing so.

ABOUT US

Good craftsmanship is not negotiable. Whoever of us you meet – on a construction site or on the phone – you meet a high professional level and, most importantly, the same respect for the customer's home and construction site. The same applies across tasks, whether it is an insurance claim, a wall to be painted, or a turnkey project.

That has been the case since 2010, when it was just Anders Hartvig and a panel van. Today we are more than 70 colleagues across carpenters, masons, painters, joiners and administration – but we still go to work every day with the same attitude: we do it properly.

What we most want to be known for remains the same as in 2010: to do a decent and honest piece of work – together. As a project manager for building service you will be part of that community and the one who sets the direction for your own team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

As a project manager for building service at Hartvig Gruppen A/S you report to the department head and are responsible for:

• Your own cases from contract to handover, from small service tasks to larger renovations
• Leadership of your own team of carpenters, masons, painters, joiners and apprentices
• Finances, schedule and quality on your cases

And you will be working with, among other things

• Plan your team two weeks ahead and allocate people so the right hands are on the right jobs
• Start the week with the team and follow up with them along the way
• Acknowledge good work and develop the individual, from experienced journeymen to apprentices
• Manage finances, schedule and client contact on your cases

YOUR PROFILE

We imagine that you have led craftsmen as a project manager, foreman or similar, or that you want to become a leader and already take responsibility for those around you. You can meet an experienced tradesman with respect, give an apprentice reassurance and say thank you in a way that is memorable. You thrive on being the focal point for customers, journeymen and suppliers. It is advantageous if you are trained as a carpenter or a mason.

You have a standard car license (B) and you speak and write Danish.

WE OFFER

You will receive thorough onboarding, where you get to know our cases, systems and partners with an experienced colleague by your side. We invest in you as a leader, so you get tools to motivate, acknowledge and develop your team. You will become part of a project manager team of 8 colleagues who collaborate on both cases and leadership, and you will receive a company car on yellow plates.

The position is 37 hours per week, and your primary workplace will be at our office in Gentofte.
