Your daily life and professional opportunities

The 24-hour Ward 1 is an intensive ward with capacity for 16 inpatients, of which 2 are acute beds.

Your core task will be to identify, analyse, plan, perform, adjust and evaluate nursing care for patients with complex nursing needs. More precisely, you share responsibility for patients' care and treatment, where as a nurse you contribute to the diagnostic assessment and have a special role in coordinating and delegating the tasks that may arise in connection with the treatment course.

We are a ward with a strong focus on activities, and in that regard you will have ample opportunity to bring your own interests into play.

The majority of the patients are young men, therefore the ward also has a special focus on sport.

We protect our working environment, where there is room for sparring, professional collegiality and a safe staffing level.

We live in good surroundings where patients express that they are pleased with the physical facilities, including single rooms, activity rooms and the department's own sports hall.

You are an experienced Danish-registered nurse with a desire to develop professionally and personally within psychiatry.

Salary and employment terms

The start date is by agreement

You will be employed under the collective agreement for non-management personnel in the Health Union’s area. You are during your employment covered by the current working time agreement concluded between Regions' Payroll and Tariff Board and the Danish Nursing Council.

The 24-hour ward is staffed around the clock, and you will therefore be scheduled with mixed shifts in accordance with the rules of the applicable working hours agreement
