We are looking for dedicated psychologists or pedagogical psychological consultants for permanent 37-hour positions starting December 1, 2026, who can be part of the rapid development that is taking place at the Interdisciplinary Competence Center and the PPR function in Faxe Municipality.

New, exciting tasks are on the way, and we need colleagues who are passionate about promoting well-being and development for children and young people, and who have an interest in treatment tasks within the framework of the accessible treatment offers.

The Interdisciplinary Competence Center is undergoing a development process in which we in the PPR function work closely with practice, and where early intervention is increasingly emphasized with a solution-focused approach (SFA). We maintain close dialogue with kindergartens and schools about developing strong cross-sector collaborations, a shared mindset, common goals, and a high degree of involvement of children and parents.

As an employee in the Psychology and Consultant team, we work in multidisciplinary contexts around children and child communities, where we contribute to creating the best frameworks for well-being, development and learning for the children. We have a co-creative approach, where all children are a shared responsibility. Multidisciplinarity strengthens children’s possibilities for well-being, development and learning. We believe that children and young people are not the problem – they show the problem.

Faxe Municipality and the Interdisciplinary Competence Center are part of the STIME partnership with Region Zealand’s child and adolescent psychiatry. Therefore, we are developing accessible treatment for children, young people and their families. With us there are good opportunities to carry out both the traditional PPR tasks as well as accessible treatment pathways.

We are seeking a psychologist/pedagogical psychologist consultant, and we look for

• if you are a psychologist, that you are preferably practice-trained (clinical psychologist)
• if you are a consultant, that you have solid professionally relevant experience within the PPR area
• able to provide consultative guidance to kindergartens and schools to promote children’s participation opportunities in child communities
• see the value in both mono-disciplinary and multidisciplinary partnerships in task solving and thereby create solutions in collaboration with children, parents and kindergartens/schools
• have experience with special pedagogical approaches and methods
• be able to translate assessment results and theoretical knowledge into practice-oriented pedagogical interventions
• have experience with manual-based treatment
• can work independently while being a good team player
• can prioritize tasks and time and navigate a daily life with a variety of tasks
• are conscious of your own strengths and competencies
