About the job

Are you keen to support the development of good learning environments for children and young people in day care and schools in Horsens Municipality? Are you focused on contributing with practical sparring to pedagogical staff? Do you have a focus on communities and the context's importance for the individual child?

Then you now have the opportunity to become part of the Cross-Functional Learning Unit. We are seeking a psychologist for one permanent position and two psychologists for parental leave cover.

About the job

In close collaboration with parents, managers and professional staff, you contribute to children and young people experiencing opportunities to participate in strong child communities. You apply your psychology expertise to support analyses, qualify decisions and translate knowledge into recommendations that strengthen the pedagogical practice.

The positions will include tasks within both PPR and Easily Accessible Treatment Offer (LTT). The concrete task portfolio will be composed based on the department's needs as well as your competencies and experiences.

PPR tasks

  • Psychology professional advice and sparring to day care and schools
  • Participation in cross-disciplinary collaborations around children and young people
  • Analysis of learning environments and participation opportunities
  • Psychological assessments and recommendations for pedagogical practice

LTT tasks

  • Manual-based treatment tasks (individuals, group, and parent/family programs)
  • Collaboration with parents and professional staff to support well-being and development
  • Early interventions closely linked to the child's or young person's everyday life

Your workday mainly takes place at schools and day care centers, where you contribute to reflection, development and action close to practice. You also provide organizational and strategic sparring to managers. The job requires independence in planning the work and the ability to translate psychological perspectives into concrete actions.

About you

You are a trained psychologist and motivated to create development through collaboration with others.

You thrive in practice-based work and are focused on creating participation opportunities for children and young people through strong communities. You have strong relationship skills and a high degree of self-insight. You are aware of how you influence and are influenced by others, and you manage to maintain a professional perspective when the task is complex and when different interests and expectations must be balanced. You actively use reflection on your own practice to create development, learning and good collaborations.

In addition, we emphasize that you

  • Want to work closely with practice in day care and schools
  • See the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and actively contribute to common solutions
  • Have an eye for participation opportunities, communities and the development of inclusive learning environments
  • Can translate psychological perspectives into concrete actions together with managers and staff
  • Thrive in a daily life that includes both independent tasks and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Understand that you work in a politically led organization

Experience from PPR, school, day care or treatment area is an advantage but not a requirement.
