Psychologists for PPR Hillerød

In Hillerød we are working on targeted development of PPR. We want to be closer to children’s everyday life, stronger in cross-disciplinary collaboration, and more active co-creators of the development of the schools’ learning environments. Therefore we are now seeking two psychologists who want to be part of this movement.

We are looking for two different profiles.

The first position is a permanent position, and it is for you who are motivated by working closely with practice. You thrive on the schools, where you, together with your PPR colleagues, teachers, pedagogues and management, translate psychological knowledge into action that strengthens children’s participation opportunities and communities. You see value in working consultatively, working hands-on, and contributing to the development of learning environments rather than primarily working with individual cases.

The second position is for you who find professional energy in more specialized psychology tasks. You want to immerse yourself in assessments, testing, and psychological evaluations and contribute to qualified decision bases in complex cases across the municipality’s schools.

Common for both positions is that you become part of a professionally strong psychology community where we help each other, share knowledge and constantly work on developing our practice.

About the job

As a psychologist in PPR Hillerød you will be part of a versatile area of work where the tasks are adapted to your profile, your competences, and your interests.

For the practice-oriented psychologist, the tasks will among others be

• Consultative and practice-oriented work at the schools.
• Collaboration with teachers, pedagogue, management and cross-disciplinary partners.
• Facilitation of processes and development programmes that strengthen learning environments and participation opportunities.
• Participation in cross-disciplinary collaborations across PPR.
• Contribution to the development of a more preventive and practice-oriented PPR effort.
• Participation in team meetings and professional group meetings.
• Preparation of PPVs, referrals and tests.

For the assessment-oriented psychologist, the tasks will among others be

• Preparation of PPVs.
• Conducting cognitive assessments and testing.
• Preparation of referrals and psychological assessments.
• Contribute to the high professional quality in PPR’s assessment and placement tasks.

PPR Hillerød is in the midst of an exciting development. We are working purposefully to move our efforts closer to the communities where children and young people live their daily lives. This means that we increasingly collaborate with the schools on the development of learning environments and participation opportunities, while maintaining high quality in our psychological examinations and assessments.

We are organized in cross-disciplinary teams with speech therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, special education consultants and PPR advisors, and we prioritise sparring, joint reflection and professional development highly. With us you will not stand alone with the complex tasks.

Salary and terms of employment

Start date: February 1, 2027, or earlier if possible.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement.

The practice-oriented position is a permanent 37-hour week, and the assessment-oriented psychologist is up to 37 hours per week depending on what we agree on.

PPR is housed at Hillerød Town Hall, Trollesmindesalle 27, 3400 Hillerød, but our tasks are primarily solved at Hillerød Municipality’s schools and day-care facilities.
