Psychologist for the Social Department's Psychology Team

The Social Department in Holstebro Municipality seeks a psychologist for the cross-disciplinary Psychology Team, which handles tasks across the Social Department and other areas of the municipality.

There is a permanent position of 37 hours per week with start as soon as possible or by 1 December 2026.

You will become part of the Social Department's Psychology Team, which consists of 12 psychologists with different functions and specialties. The Psychology Team is organizationally anchored in the Center for Substances and Prevention, where we together employ 24 staff members.

We solve tasks across the Social Department and other municipal areas, and tasks are distributed via central visitation. Therefore you will have a varied day-to-day with the opportunity to work within several different professional areas.

The Psychology Team's tasks fall within the following areas

Substance abuse treatment and prevention

Outpatient conversations and psychoeducation regarding substance- and alcohol problems – individually or in groups.

• Multidisciplinary collaboration with internal and external partners, including psychiatry
• Advice and guidance to relatives of people with substance problems
• Supervision and teaching of other professional groups with focus on young people and substances
• Advice to relatives
• Conversations with children and adolescents in connection with the project “Luftskibet”

Outpatient conversation courses

• Work-related coaching
• Therapeutic conversations
• Anonymous youth counseling
• Conversations with women and children/youth at Holstebro Crisis Center

Consulting tasks in the Social Department's Centers

• Supervision of professionals
• Consulting work and professional sparring to partners
