About the job

Would you like to be part of a strong multidisciplinary community and help make a difference for Gladsaxe Municipality's children and young people and their families from a broad interdisciplinary PPR perspective?

We are seeking three new psychology colleagues as of 1 December or as soon as possible thereafter. For two of the positions, these are permanent appointments; the third is a maternity leave cover with the possibility of extension.

About us

PPR's primary task is to qualify and support both professionals and parents, and in collaboration with schools and day-care centers to help establish strong learning and development environments for the municipality's children and young people.

We do this, among other things, through consultative efforts, at network meetings, through observation and dialogue, targeted supervision and sparring, assistance with qualifying individual action plans, and through the establishment of co-practice programs and training of professionals. In addition, some psychologists also have tasks within easily accessible treatment offerings, where they for example run parent workshops or have limited counselling sessions on topics such as sadness, worries, and self-harm.

In Gladsaxe Municipality we have in recent years undergone a major and exciting change process which we have called “Participation opportunities for all.” We have moved out of the town hall into interdisciplinary teams and are actively on the schools at least two days a week. Our vision is to work across professional disciplines and departments, together with, among others, family therapists and advisers, to create the best conditions for good learning and participation opportunities in the community and for the individual child.

As a psychologist in PPR you will be attached to a fixed cross-professional team and a school.

Your tasks will include

  • Provide consultative guidance and advice to schools and day-care centers
  • Observation and sparring with professionals in day-care centers and/or at the school
  • Work with co-practice—practice-oriented collaboration with professionals in the child's context
  • Prepare educational-psychological assessments
  • Participate in supervision tasks of professionals together with other PPR staff

About you

We are seeking three professionally strong psychologists who can fit in well but who also may bring new ideas, perspectives, competencies and qualities to the psychology group of about 35 psychologists and your upcoming cross-professional team. The most important is that you:

  • Are passionate about the complexity of PPR work, where two days are rarely the same
  • Want to work in a close cross-professional community
  • Desire to work closely with practice in the classroom and in day-care centers
  • Have experience with special pedagogical approaches and methods
  • Are committed to the pedagogical-psychological work with professionals, children and their families
  • Enjoy working both independently and together with others

You will be assigned a mentor and receive internal supervision. We place emphasis on ongoing upskilling in relation to our tasks in PPR. If you are on the path to authorization/practice education, a plan for an educational program will be laid out in collaboration with your immediate supervisor.
