Qualified electricians for work with electric vehicle batteries

Are you a trained electrician, and would you like to use your professional skills in recycling and the green transition? Anzet is seeking skilled electricians for Stena Recycling, where you will work with handling, testing and dismantling of electric vehicle batteries.

We are especially looking for you with experience from industry, production or technical facilities, who thrives with practical tasks and wants to learn new things. You do not need to have worked with EV batteries before – you will receive thorough training in the tasks and safety procedures.

The position starts as a Try & Hire arrangement through Anzet, where for the right candidate there are good opportunities for subsequent permanent employment at Stena Recycling.

About the job

You will become part of a team where you use your electrical engineering understanding and work systematically with a focus on safety and quality.

Your tasks will include

• Receiving, inspection and registration of EV batteries.
• Testing and assessment of the batteries’ condition.
• Safe discharge and monitoring of high-voltage batteries.
• Dismantling of battery packs to module- and cell-level.
• Troubleshooting and technical handling of batteries.
• Contribution to the development of safe and efficient work practices.

Who are you?

You are a skilled electrician and preferably have experience from industry, production, machinery or technical installations. You have a practical approach to work and an interest in battery technology.

We emphasize that you

• Have good technical understanding and work carefully.
• Take safety seriously and follow instructions and procedures.
• Are reliable, responsible and good at collaboration.
• Can work independently and learn new workflows.
• Speak and understand Danish, so you can communicate about tasks and safety.

Experience with EV batteries is not a requirement. The most important is your professional foundation and your willingness to learn.

Workplace and start

You start in Farum, where you are expected to work for the first 1–2 months. Thereafter the department moves to Roskilde, which will be your fixed workplace. You must therefore be able to report to both locations during the program.

Working hours

14 days’ probation on day shift followed by rotating shift

• Day shift Monday–Thursday 07:00–15:15 and Friday 07:00–13:00.
• Evening shift Monday–Thursday 14:30–23:45 with breaks and Friday off.
