About the job

The position.

We are seeking two skilled and independent radiographers who are professionally engaged and with a smile on their face.

You should be eager to contribute creatively to workflows in a sometimes busy, but always good and informal everyday life.

Who are we

Frederikssund Hospital is a smaller hospital which is part of North Zealand Hospital. We are out in the countryside with exceptionally good parking facilities, views of fields and grazing cows. The vast majority of our patients are outpatients; we also have inpatients and patients from the emergency clinic, which is open from 9:00 to 21:00, to add some variety to everyday life.

We are a department consisting of 10 radiographers, 2 secretaries, 1 sonographer and 1 reporting radiographer. All radiographers are generally on shift duty, but there are plenty of opportunities to have a strong influence on one’s own shift schedule. It is important to us that work, family and leisure time fit together. We do not have night shifts and our evening shift ends at 21:00. There is the possibility of exchange with Hillerød Hospital if you would like to take extra shifts there.

The reason we need to hire 2 new radiographers is that in 2027 we will take on a completely new function. On weekdays, we will go out to, among others, the care homes in our catchment area and perform X-ray examinations on site – this is something you will be part of.

We consist of 2 Siemens CT scanners, 1 Ultrasound room and 3 bone rooms – 2 from Siemens and 1 from Samsung. And as something new, 1 x outreach function.

A day with us is a day where we help each other, and although our focus is on the patients, we must also have a good collegial atmosphere. We are a department that likes to welcome students and give them the best possible experience, so you should be prepared for this. We have various staff benefits, in the form of a massage chair – which of course may be used during working hours, as well as a “state-of-the-art” gym – which, however, must be used in your free time.

So if you are a radiographer who fits the above and who wants to work mainly with outpatients, with an outreach function, students, and sweet, nice, hardworking and skilled colleagues, then we are the place for you.

It is a requirement that you have a driver's license.

What we can offer

  • Professional and personal development.
  • A smaller department with good values such as flexibility, respect for the individual, humor, influence and high professional competence.
  • A role within CT, conventional examinations and outreach function.
  • A really good working environment where helpfulness, mutual respect and attentiveness are highly prioritized.

North Zealand Hospital, Department of Radiology consists of radiology sections in Hillerød, Helsingør and Frederikssund, as well as a clinical physiological and nuclear medicine section in Hillerød.

We are in the midst of a unique development, where construction of the New North Zealand Hospital in Hillerød is in full swing; from there we shall service more than 310,000 inhabitants.

We work according to the vision of delivering high professional quality in radiological diagnostics and treatment with the patient’s needs at the center, while also having a strong focus on employees’ well-being and development.
